This is the some geometric pattern I made with Ai. I use some shapes and rotate them. I also uses the offset path tool to make them, and I also use the clipping mask for all of them.

This is a combination of a tree and the human arms as the branch of the tree.

I choose this arm tree because I think it look the best, and very cool compare to the other object. When I introduced my object in my group discussion, my classmates said that they liked this object and it looks very cool. They said that this arm tree will be a fancy decoration furniture, and they also said this arm tree can be a very good idea for decoration for Halloween because it looks kind of creepy as well, and they said they will be scared if they go to a house that has this tree, but I don’t think it is that much scary. They also gave me a feedback that I should add some decoration that hang below the arms such as some creepy ornaments, which is a good idea, but I think the tree is good enough and if I add more decoration, it will look messy and unclear.

I choose this arm tree because I think it look the best, and very cool compare to the other object. This is the object that I spent the most time to create it because I had to remove all the tree branches and replace them with many human arms, so it is deserved to be selected.This idea came up in my mind when I saw a tree with many branches, and it just looks like when human has arms. It related to Remix Culture when I combine the arm, which is a human's element and a tree to create this furniture. Tree without branches will look solitary just like human doesn't have arms will looks empty and not balance. Therefore, I saw the similarity between the tree branches and human arms, and I decided to combine tree branch and arms to create this arm tree. 

Also, the human arm has the shape same with the tree branch shape, so it would be fit if I replaced the arms with the tree branches. This can be a useful furniture when we can hang stuff on the "arm branch" of the tree just like a human arms is holding something. In short, I think this object is the one that I like the most because it looks very cool and I spent lots of time to create it.

Remixed Objects

In my opinion, I think remixed culture is when we combine an element with the other element to create a new thing, and it may be strange or weird but it should be more interesting than the original one. For example, in Music, people usually make a mashup of two or more songs that have connection with each song. Also, people usually remix a song by changing the beat of the song such as they changing the beat of a ballad song with a faster and positive beat in order to change the feeling of the song. In making object, we can mix an element of this object with the other element of the other object to create a new object with new design and function.

 This is an object which made by a piano with the legs of guitar. I made this object because this is my two favorite instrument that I love to play.

 This is an object made by a tree with the branch made by human's arm. I made this because the human's arm is like the tree branch, and it also looks cool. It will be a cool decoration for Halloween.

Objectified Response

This is a two-levels lunchbox.  This lunchbox has two levels and a place to contain the soup inside the box. The special about this lunchbox is that I created a place that can contain soup as a cylinder, and we can take the cylinder out to heat the soup. In addition, we can also put rice, meet, salad, and dessert, and spoon and chopstick as well. I made this lunchbox because lunchbox is not a strange object for students and the people who go to work everyday when people use lunchboxes to contain their food. In the documentary "Gary Hustwit's Objectified", the object designers usually try to make the objects that can make human's life become easier. Usually the lunchbox doesn't have the place to contain soup. Therefore, I think the lunchbox that I made is one of the object that can make people's lives become easier since soup is the popular food that most of people like to eat, especially Asian people.
